What is Pro Bono Pitch Night?
This event is a platform for social enterprises and not-for-profits to share their stories and connect with branding and marketing professionals eager to offer pro bono support. Think Shark Tank, but friendlier—where instead of pitching for funding, you’re looking for expertise.

What will the evening look like?

What is the ultimate goal of this event?
To create meaningful partnerships that drive real, lasting change for social enterprises and not-for-profits by leveraging branding and marketing expertise. The night is about fostering relationships and supporting positive social impact.
What is the cost of the event?
- There is no cost to apply to pitch or attend the event.
- If matched with a brandkind professional, there is a $300 administrative fee to support project management. This ensures the high standard of support that is embedded in the brandkind model.

Who can attend as a professional?
This event is open to branding professionals and creatives who are passionate about purpose-driven work. You might be interested in supporting social enterprises and not-for-profits, but may not want to pursue a career in this sector at this time.
For those connecting to this event from the 10×10 community, brandkind is a community of branding professionals and creatives who want to share their skills for good. If you do want to engage in a project with one of the organisations on the night, you will need to undertake a briefing call with brandkind who will assess your work and ensure you meet their standard of work.
How much time commitment is expected?
It varies by project. Most collaborations range from a few hours to a few days over several weeks. brandkind will assist in defining a manageable scope if needed.
What kind of projects will I be involved in?
Projects may include, but are not limited to:
- Half-day strategy planning sessions
- 1–3 days of communications, content planning, or design development
- Solo or collaborative work, depending on scope and preference
How do I decide which organisation to support?
You’ll hear pitches on the night and fill out an expression of interest form. Brandkind will lead a match-making process to ensure a strong and supported partnership.
Do I need to commit during the event?
No pressure! The match-making process happens post-event, allowing you to make an informed decision.
What if I can’t commit to a full project?
This event is purely to bring together great minds, incredible businesses and exciting collaborations. If you do not have time to commit to a project, that’s okay! You can still contribute by offering advice, sharing resources, or making introductions within your network.

Who can apply to pitch?
Any social enterprise or not-for-profit with a compelling mission, a need for branding or marketing support, and the capacity to engage with a professional partner.

What happens if I’m selected?
You’ll have 4 minutes to pitch, sharing your mission, the problem you’re solving, and your branding/marketing needs. Guidance will be provided to craft an engaging pitch. There will be a 2 minute opportunity for the audience to ask questions.
What if I’m not selected to pitch?
You’re still welcome to attend and connect with branding professionals and supporters. There will be future events as well.
What’s expected of me if I’m matched with a professional?
By nominating to pitch your project, you are committing to supporting your matched professional throughout. You will collaborate on defining a clear project scope and timeline, with brandkind providing ongoing support.
