Green Collect

Scaling a Circular Economy Pioneer

Creative & design Digital & marketing Strategic support Environment and Sustainability 2024

For more than two decades, Green Collect has been proving that environmental sustainability and social impact can go hand in hand. By recovering, reusing and recycling difficult waste streams, the Melbourne-based social enterprise diverts valuable resources from landfill while creating meaningful employment opportunities for people facing barriers to work. As the organisation expanded, however, its brand no longer reflected the scale or sophistication of its impact. After doubling in size and complexity over five years, Green Collect needed a clearer strategic position, a stronger visual identity, and a digital experience that could engage a broader audience while supporting future growth.

What we delivered

brandkind assembled a multidisciplinary team to deliver a complete brand refresh and website delivery, beginning with an in-depth brand strategy that aligned Green Collect’s purpose, audiences and value proposition. Through stakeholder engagement and strategic positioning, Irma and Nidhi developed a clearer narrative that articulated how Green Collect creates environmental, social and economic value through the circular economy.

The refreshed visual identity captures the organisation’s practical optimism and resourcefulness. Modern yet approachable, Steff and Julia developed the identity that reflects the continuous movement of materials, people and ideas through circular systems, while reinforcing Green Collect’s role as an innovative leader in sustainable resource recovery.

The strategy extended across every customer touchpoint. Alongside the new identity, Sarah developed aligned messaging for SEO and website copy, while Em delivered website design and development, digital architecture and app integration. Together, these elements created a cohesive experience that makes it easier for businesses, government and community organisations to understand Green Collect’s services and the impact their partnership creates.

The outcome

The refreshed brand provides Green Collect with a platform built for growth. By bringing greater clarity to its purpose and services, the organisation is now better positioned to engage new corporate partners, strengthen customer understanding, and communicate its unique combination of environmental and social impact with confidence.

The new website simplifies complex service offerings while showcasing the measurable outcomes generated through circular resource recovery, helping prospective clients quickly understand both the practical and human value of working with Green Collect. The refreshed identity also creates consistency across digital and physical touchpoints, reinforcing trust as the organisation continues to scale.

Most importantly, the project equips Green Collect with a brand that grows alongside its mission—one that reflects the innovation, inclusion and optimism at the heart of the organisation while supporting its ambition to create a future where resources are valued, waste is minimised, and more people have access to meaningful employment.
